We welcome youth from ages 8-14 to partake in a 4 week entrepreneur course for potential entrepreneurs and even the experienced ones. Each session will unleash the youthpreneur entrepreneurial spirit, cultivate the mindset of business, and reassure leaders of the future. Youth business workshops will be conducted at the American Jazz Museum every Wednesday in September from 5:30p - 6:30p. Wednesday, Sept., 12th - Week 2 BALANCE TRACK - MONEY MANAGEMENT This session will cover the core concepts of money management and teach you how to: Set Goals - Build a Budget - Save Money. Wednesday, Sept., 19th - Week 3 ZERO TO HERO - BRAND YOUR BUSINESS This session will explore innovative ways to take your business to the next level by incorporating simple suggestions from Brand Coach, Detria Conley with The Porter House KC. Wednesday, Sept., 26th - Week 4 PITCH PERFECT - PLAN TO SUCCEED You know your idea inside and out. But to pitch it effectively to others you need to look at the big picture and understand your product through someone else’s eyes. The perfect elevator pitch is one that’s crafted for an audience.
